Agreement to Terms
By accessing www.solidrockx.com or engaging Solid Rock Excavating, LLC ("Solid Rock Excavating," "SRX," "we," "our," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
Our Services
Solid Rock Excavating provides excavation and site-work services, including site preparation, land clearing, grading, foundation and basement excavation, septic system site work, utility and drainage installation, demolition and site cleanup, and hauling. The specific scope, schedule, and price for any job are set out in a separate written estimate or work agreement between you and SRX.
Estimates & Pricing
Estimates are free and are based on the information available and the conditions observed at the time. Final pricing may change if site conditions, scope, materials, or access differ from what was assumed in the estimate. We will communicate material changes before performing additional work where reasonably possible. Estimates are valid for the period stated on the estimate.
Scheduling & Weather
Excavation is weather- and ground-condition dependent. We make every effort to keep scheduled dates, but rain, frozen or saturated ground, utility locates, permitting, and other factors outside our control may require rescheduling. We are not liable for delays caused by such conditions.
Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about the property, scope, and access.
- Ensure we have legal access to the work area.
- Identify the location of private utilities, septic, irrigation, invisible fences, and other buried items not covered by public utility locates.
- Obtain or confirm any property-owner permissions required for the work.
Public utility locates will be requested as required by law. SRX is not responsible for damage to unmarked or inaccurately marked private lines or buried items not disclosed to us.
Payment
Payment terms are stated in your estimate or work agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are due upon completion. Past-due balances may be subject to a finance charge as permitted by Kentucky law.
Warranty & Limitation of Liability
We stand behind our workmanship as described in your work agreement. Except as expressly stated there, our services are provided "as is," and to the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim other warranties, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SRX is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific job giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Boone County, Kentucky.
